Pack 369 Cubmaster
I have been a registered scout/scouter for 29 years. During that time, I earned my Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts, Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts, and the Vigil Honor in the Order of The Arrow. After I turned 18, I served as an Assistant Scoutmaster for several years, as well as a Pack, Troop, and District Committee member for various chartered groups. I have participated in multiple high adventure trips to Philmont and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I participated in National Camp School (NCS) twice, once each for Aquatics and Camp Management as well as 5 additional times as a BSA Aquatics Instructor at NCS. I worked at Camp Maumee Scout Reservation for 13 summers between 1991-2010 as an aquatics staff member, Aquatics Director and as the Camp Director for the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in 2010.
In my “day job” I am an educator. I was a middle and high school classroom teacher in science and technology education for 10 years before becoming a technology integration specialist for the EVSC. I have also been involved in youth sports as a hockey, volleyball, baseball, swimming / diving, cross country, and track & field coach. I became involved with Pack 369 when my oldest son Aidan became a Tiger Cub and have enjoyed seeing Aidan and my younger son Karson progress through the cub scouting ranks. My loving wife Andrea also serves as the Pack Advancement Chair or as she likes to say the “Grand Poobah of Patches”. I have been an Assistant Den Leader for Den 8 in Pack 369 for the last 4 years and I look forward to serving as the Cubmaster for the Pack!
Pack 369 Assistant Cubmaster
I started my scouting career at age 6 as a Tiger Cub. During the next 15 years I achieved every rank available, earned my Arrow of Light, Eagle Scout, and have the privilege of being a Brotherhood Member of the Order of the Arrow. From 1997 – 1999 I served on the Crossroads of America Council White Stag Junior Leader Training Camp. I was honored to serve as Senior Patrol Leader my final year at White Stag. Scouting has given me the tools to succeed in life.
The leadership skills I learned have lead to my career in management that started in restaurant management at age 18. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana and currently manage the Digital Sales Department for 14NEWS here in Evansville. I have enjoyed serving as Den Leader for Den 4 with my son Connor. I look forward to the new adventure as Assistant Cubmaster.[/column]
